Through your generosity, the RHSF has awarded over $200,000 in grants to current RHS programs!
A sampling of our $40,000 Grant Awards* for 2011-2012 include:
- Mentoring program for all 9th graders
- Co2 and O2 sensors and bio-chambers for biology classrooms
- Commercial casters for art tables to accommodate flexible classroom setup
- New tedddy bear mascot costume to replace 20 year-old version
- Writers in the Schools writer-artist-in-residence program for entire school
- 64 AP Comparative Government textbooks
- Bassoon and double bass for band/orchestra programs
- 20 Biotechnology and 61 An Introduction to Chemistry: Atoms textbooks
- Model United Nations Conference fees
- 10 monitors, portable video magnifier, and Pebble CCTV for Special Ed technology lab
- Turnitin online plagiarism checker for Language Arts
