May 2006: 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser
The 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser was held Monday, June 12, at the Sand Point Country Club. Alums, staff, family and friends enjoyed a great day of golf, lunch, dinner and an auction of fun golf packages from around the northwest. Golfers had the opportunity to win a brand new Buick sedan and several other great prizes provided by Westlund Buick. Other generous alums sponsored individual course holes, and guests supported the Foundation through a "raise the paddle" at dinner.
All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Roosevelt Foundation Endowment Fund; this year a little over $65,000 was raised! Please subscribe online now to the mailing list for next year's tournament on May 14, 2007.
